This online workshop is all about elevating your foundational knowledge and skills so you can transform your speculative ideas into authentic, convincing and compelling story worlds that will entice and enthrall readers. Discover how to set the stage, embellish and integrate your world building effectively, with practical examples to show you how.
You will learn: How to develop a to-do list for crafting and building your own unique fictional world, How to avoid pitfalls using real-life examples, and insights into the writing process of an award-winning speculative fiction author
Zena Shapter is an award-winning author of science fiction, fantasy, speculative and contemporary fiction, conjuring journeys into the beyond and unusual. Author of When Dark Roots Hunt, When Dark Waters Burn, Towards White, and co-author of Into Tordon. She has been described as a “master of immersive worlds” (Tawny Frogmouth Magazine) Zena loves movies, frogs, chocolate, potatoes and living with her family.
