Event Description

Are you new to Australia and curious about how work and careers happen here? This workshop is designed especially for multicultural and CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) young people who want to understand the Australian workplace, job expectations, and how to get started.

In this session, you’ll learn the basics of finding a job in Australia—how to read job ads, what employers look for, your rights and responsibilities at work, and the steps you can take to prepare for employment. It’s a relaxed, supportive workshop where you can ask questions, build confidence, and get practical tips to help you succeed in your future career.
