Event Description

In 2017, Jelena Dokic made international headlines with the release of her bestselling memoir, Unbreakable. Years of shocking abuse at the hands of her father – physical, emotional and financial – were revealed by the former tennis World No. 4. Fearless, Jelena’s second book, shares the impact her formative years have had on her, and her refusal to be defined by her trauma – she is determined to grow, be stronger and wiser because of it, and wants to help others who may also be suffering.
We are so fortunate to have Jelena appearing at Bunjil Place Library to share her stories, her experiences and how she is finding a way to move past them.
In lieu of a speaker's fee Connected Libraries will be making a donation to The Butterfly Foundation.
Book sales and signings will be available on the night. This is a free event, but bookings are essential.
