Join award-winning writer Suzanne Hermanoczki for a creative writing workshop open to writers of all stages and abilities. This workshop will incorporate input about place and setting, will provide some great readings and examples, and will allow time for participants to try a range of exercises and writing activities. Participants will also have the opportunity to share their work and/ or discuss their writing experience at the end session. The workshop is open to writers of all genres.
Suzanne Hermanoczki is a Meanjin/ Brisbane-born, Naarm/ Melbourne-based award-winning writer, creative writing teacher and academic, of Argentine and Hungarian descent. She holds a PhD, Masters and Postgraduate studies in Creative Writing from the University of Melbourne and The University of Hong Kong (respectively). Her writing has appeared in numerous publications including Cha, Going Down Swinging, Meanjin, Overland, Puentes Review, Sobremesa, SWAMP, TEXT, Westerly, and HKU and Verge Anthologies. Suzanne has worked as a tertiary educator for many years and is currently co-director of Writing Days, a creative writing society based in Merri-Bek.
