Event Description

Join Doveton Library, Sid the Sloth, and readers across Australia for a magical storytelling event at Myuna Farm!

For National Simultaneous Storytime 2026, we'll be celebrating the joy of reading, storytelling and connection with this year's ALIA nominated book 'Luna Roo: the Kangaroo Baller', an inspiring underdog tale of courage, perseverance and the kind of grit that makes you want to stand up and cheer. Written by first-time authors Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd and Illustrated by Jake Minton.

This free event welcomes families, but bookings are essential. Train and pony rides will also be available for $3.50 per ticket from the Farm’s front office.

Celebrate the joy of storytelling at Myuna Farm—we can’t wait to see you there!
